Car
From Terelj National Park, head southwest on the main road (Route 35) toward Ulaanbaatar. Continue for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 1. Take a left onto Route 1 and continue for about 20 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Hustai National Park and follow the road to Khustai Mountains Rd. The park entrance will be on your right. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the park.

First, from Terelj National Park, you will need to take a local bus or shared minivan to Ulaanbaatar. Buses leave frequently from the main road near the entrance of the park. Once in Ulaanbaatar, head to the bus station (Dragon Bus Station is recommended). From there, take a bus heading toward the Töv region, specifically looking for signs or drivers indicating Hustai National Park. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival, you may need to hire a taxi or arrange for a ride to the park entrance if it is not within walking distance.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi or using a ride-sharing app once you are in Ulaanbaatar. Simply provide the driver with the destination 'Hustai National Park' and they will take you directly there. The fare will vary based on traffic and time of day, but expect to pay around 50,000 to 70,000 Mongolian Tugrik (approx. $15-$20 USD).
