If you're driving from Buir Lake to Chinggis Khaan International Airport, start by heading west on the main road that runs along the lake. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the Töv region. Follow the signs for 'Ulaanbaatar' and merge onto the A-1 highway. Stay on this highway for approximately 50 kilometers. Take the exit towards MR2C+HJ5 and follow the signs to the airport. The total drive should take around 1.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Chinggis Khaan International Airport from Buir Lake by public transportation, first, take a local bus heading towards Ulaanbaatar. Buses leave regularly from central points in Buir Lake. The fare will typically be around 3,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik). The bus ride will take about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Ulaanbaatar bus station, you will need to transfer to the airport shuttle bus or a taxi. The airport shuttle bus costs about 10,000 MNT and takes approximately 1 hour to reach the airport.
