Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Ulaanbaatar and head south on Chinggis Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ikh Toiruu (the main ring road). Take a left onto Ikh Toiruu and drive for about 10 km. Look for signs for Bogd Khan Mountain. Follow the signs to the entrance of the park. Once you arrive at the Bogd Khan Mountain entrance, park your car in the designated parking area. From there, you can follow the marked trails leading to Богд Уул Дугуй Цагаан өгсөх хэсэг, which is approximately a 30-minute hike uphill.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take bus number 10 or 51 from the city center (look for buses at the main bus station or designated bus stops). These routes head towards the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar and will take you close to the entrance of Bogd Khan Mountain. Get off at the last stop, which is near the entrance to the park. From there, you can either walk to the visitor center (approximately 1 km) or take a taxi for a short ride to the entrance. Once you arrive at the entrance, follow the marked trails leading to Богд Уул Дугуй Цагаан өгсөх хэсэг, which is approximately a 30-minute hike uphill.
