Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Zuunmod town center, located near the main square. From the square, head west on the main road (Zuunmod Street) towards the hills. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the statue. Look for signs pointing towards the 'Golden Statue of Buddha'. Turn right at the intersection and follow this road uphill for about 2 kilometers. As you ascend, you will see the statue in the distance. Continue walking until you reach the entrance of the statue area.

    From the Zuunmod bus station, take bus number 33 which goes towards Ulaanbaatar. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for the Golden Statue of Buddha.
