You’ll need to ask the driver to let you know when to get off, as the stop is near the forest entrance. Be prepared to walk approximately 1 mile from the bus stop to the main hiking trails in Helena National Forest.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Helena, such as the 'Helena Bike Shop' located at 1018 E Custer Ave. From the shop, head east on Custer Ave until you reach the intersection with Montana Ave. Turn left on Montana Ave and continue straight for about 5 miles.
