Hiking
If you are starting from the Canyon Village area, head south on the South Rim Trail. Follow the signs for Artist Point, which is approximately a 1-mile hike. The path is well-marked and offers stunning views of the canyon along the way. As you approach Artist Point, you will notice a gradual incline; continue until you reach the viewpoint.

Shuttle
From the Canyon Village, take the Yellowstone National Park shuttle service. Board the shuttle heading towards Artist Point. The shuttle runs regularly, and you can check the schedule at the Canyon Visitor Center. Once you arrive at the Artist Point stop, follow the short path leading directly to the viewpoint.

Biking
If you have access to a bike rental at Canyon Village, you can ride to Artist Point. Start by heading south along the South Rim Drive. The distance is about 2 miles, and the route is scenic with minimal traffic. Upon reaching the Artist Point parking area, there will be a short walking path to the viewpoint.
