Getting There

  • Walking from Old Faithful

    Start at the Old Faithful Visitor Center, where you can find detailed maps and information. From the Visitor Center, head east on the main paved path towards Old Faithful Geyser. After you view the geyser, continue along the pathway that leads towards the Geyser Basin. Look for signs leading to the Biscuit Basin Trail. Follow this path for approximately 1.5 miles, which will take you through beautiful geothermal features. Once you reach Biscuit Basin, follow the boardwalk to the right towards the Black Sand Basin Trail. After a short walk, you will see Clepsydra Geyser located along the boardwalk.
