Car
If you are traveling by car within Durmitor National Park, head towards the P14 road. The viewpoint is located along this road. From the town of Žabljak, take the P14 road towards the direction of Plužine. Drive for approximately 30 minutes (around 21 km) until you reach the Piva Lake viewpoint, which will be on your left side. There is parking available near the viewpoint. Ensure to have some coins handy for potential parking fees.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Žabljak to Plužine. The journey takes about 1 hour and buses run several times a day. Once you arrive in Plužine, you will need to take a taxi to reach the Piva Lake viewpoint, as public transport does not go directly to the viewpoint. The taxi ride from Plužine to the viewpoint will take approximately 20 minutes and may cost around €10-15, depending on the taxi service.

If you are already in the vicinity of the P14 road and feel adventurous, you can walk to the viewpoint. Starting from the nearest point on the P14 road, you can walk along the roadside for about 3 km, which should take around 40-50 minutes. Be cautious as the road can have traffic. This route offers beautiful views along the way, so make sure to have your camera ready!
