Getting There

    From the Old Bagan area, head east towards the main road (Anawrahta Road). As you walk, keep an eye out for the signposts directing you to Bupaya. After about 10 minutes, you will see a fork in the road; take the right fork which leads to the riverside area.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Old Bagan. Start at your rental location and head towards Anawrahta Road. Turn left onto Anawrahta Road and cycle straight for about 1 kilometer. Look for the signs indicating Bupaya as you approach the Irrawaddy River.
