Start your journey at Inle Lake by taking a boat from one of the local piers. Popular starting points include Nyaung Shwe or from your hotel if they provide boat services. Inform the boatman that you wish to go to Pindaya. The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the conditions. The boat will take you across the lake and then navigate through rivers and channels toward Pindaya. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach the Pindaya area, you will need to disembark at the nearest dock.

Tricycle
After disembarking from the boat, you can hire a tricycle (also known as a motorbike taxi) to take you directly to Pindaya Temple. Show the driver the address 'WMG2+67H, Unnamed Road, Pindaya' or simply say 'Pindaya Temple'. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before departing to avoid any misunderstandings.

Walking
If you prefer to explore on foot after arriving in Pindaya, you can walk to the temple from the dock. It is about a 30-minute walk. Head towards the main road, and then follow the signs leading to Pindaya Temple. The route is relatively straightforward, and you can enjoy the local scenery along the way.
