From the heart of Downtown Omaha, start at the Omaha Public Library located at 215 S 15th St. Head south on 15th St towards Howard St. Continue on 15th St until you reach Farnam St, then turn left onto Farnam St. Walk east along Farnam St until you reach 10th St. Turn right onto 10th St and walk south until you reach Dodge St. Cross Dodge St and continue on 10th St, which will become Bancroft St. Lauritzen Gardens will be on your left at 100 Bancroft St. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30 minutes.

Public Transit (Bus)
Start at the Omaha Public Library (215 S 15th St). Walk to the nearest bus stop at 15th St & Farnam St. Take Metro Transit Bus Route 2 (East) towards the 'Omaha Community Playhouse'. Stay on the bus for 7 stops, then get off at the Bancroft & 13th St stop. From there, walk south on 13th St until you reach Bancroft St, then turn right. Lauritzen Gardens will be on your left at 100 Bancroft St. The bus fare is approximately $1.25.
