Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Pokhara, which is a common base for trekkers. Head east on the Siddhartha Highway (Route 1) towards Naudanda. Continue for about 30 km until you reach Naudanda. From there, follow the road signs to Kande, which is approximately 6 km away. Once in Kande, you can park your vehicle at a designated area near the trailhead for the Australian Camp hike. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around NPR 100-200, depending on the area.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Pokhara, head to the Tourist Bus Park or Lakeside area to catch a local bus to Kande. Buses leave regularly throughout the day, and the fare is around NPR 100-150. The bus ride takes about 30-45 minutes. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at Kande; they are usually very helpful with tourists. Once you arrive in Kande, you’ll find signs leading to the Australian Camp trailhead.

If you're already in the Annapurna region and have trekked from nearby villages like Dhampus or Pothana, you can reach the Australian Camp by following the marked trails. From Dhampus, it takes roughly 1-2 hours of trekking to reach the camp. The trail is well-marked, and you can ask locals for directions if needed. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the trek.
