Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head south towards the main entrance of Bhaktapur. Continue straight on the main road, passing through the local shops and eateries. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the Suryabinayak Temple. Continue straight for another 30 minutes, following the road signs towards Kulekhani. The walk will take you through scenic fields and small villages, so enjoy the local scenery. After about 45 minutes of walking, you'll see a sign for Kulekhani Hydropower Reservoir. Follow the sign until you reach the reservoir.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Bhaktapur. Start at Bhaktapur Durbar Square and cycle south towards the main road. Follow the road signs towards Suryabinayak Temple, which is about 2.5 km away. After passing the temple, continue straight for approximately 8 km towards Kulekhani. The route is mostly flat and will take you through beautiful rural landscapes. Keep an eye out for the signage directing you to the Kulekhani Hydropower Reservoir.
