    From any location in the Eastern Development Region, travel to Kathmandu. The most common route is via the Araniko Highway (also known as the Kathmandu-Lhasa Highway) that connects to Kathmandu. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, head to the Thamel area, where many trekking companies operate. You can park your car in designated parking areas around Thamel. Ensure to check for parking fees, which can vary.

    Public Transportation

    If traveling by public transportation, take a bus from your location in the Eastern Development Region to Kathmandu. Buses are available from major towns like Biratnagar or Dhankuta. Once in Kathmandu, get off at the New Bus Park and take a taxi or local bus to Thamel. The taxi fare to Thamel from the New Bus Park is approximately NPR 300-500. You can also opt for a local bus, which is less expensive but may take longer.

    Domestic Flight

    Alternatively, if you are further east, you can fly from Biratnagar or other regional airports to Kathmandu. This is the fastest option, and flight durations are about 40 minutes. After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, take a taxi to Thamel, which should cost around NPR 700-1000.

    Trekking Transportation
