If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is Kathmandu. Drive on the Prithvi Highway towards Naubise. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit for Thankot and then follow the signs towards Chandragiri. Once you reach Chandragiri, use GPS coordinates 27.71547, 85.2205493 to navigate to the Sunset Viewpoint. The last part of the journey will be on an unnamed road, which can be reached from the main road in Chandragiri. Parking is available near the viewpoint.
