Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any major city in the Eastern Development Region. Use the Siddhartha Highway (also known as the E-73) to head towards Kathmandu. Once you reach Kathmandu, follow signs for Chandragiri. From the center of Kathmandu, you can take the Chandragiri Cable Car for a scenic ride up to the Chandragiri hill. The park is located approximately 3 kilometers from the cable car station. Parking is available at the base station, but make sure to check for any parking fees, which may vary.

Public Transportation
To reach Switzerland Park via public transportation, take a bus from your location in the Eastern Development Region heading to Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, find a local bus or microbus heading to Chandragiri. The bus will take you close to the base of the Chandragiri Cable Car station. From there, you can take the cable car up to the Chandragiri hill. After arriving at the top, Switzerland Park is approximately 3 kilometers away, so be prepared to walk or hire a local taxi for a short ride. Be mindful of the bus fares and the cable car ticket prices, which are typically around NPR 600 for a round trip.

For those preferring a more direct route, hiring a taxi from Kathmandu to Switzerland Park is an option. The taxi ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare in advance; it may cost anywhere from NPR 1500 to NPR 2500. The taxi can drop you off at the entrance of the park.
