Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Biratnagar. Take the East-West Highway (Mahendra Highway) heading east. After approximately 30 kilometers, take a right turn toward Makalu. Continue driving for about 20 kilometers until you see signs for 'Shiva Dhara'. The temple is located at Q4FV+66X, Makalu 56900. Look for parking areas nearby as you approach the site.
Public Transportation
From Biratnagar, take a local bus heading towards Makalu. Buses usually leave every hour from the main bus station. After about an hour's ride, get off at the Makalu stop. From there, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to reach Shiva Dhara, which is about 5 kilometers away. Just ask locals for directions, as they will be familiar with the site.
