If you are driving from Nepalgunj, head west on the Mahendra Highway (H91) for approximately 90 kilometers. Follow the signs for Bardiya National Park, and be sure to stop at the National Park entrance to pay the entrance fee, which is around NPR 1,000 for foreign tourists. After entering the park, continue on the designated roads until you reach the Patthar Bandh viewpoint. Be cautious of wildlife and follow park regulations.

To reach Patthar Bandh using public transportation, board a bus from Nepalgunj to Bardiya National Park. Buses depart regularly throughout the day and the fare is typically around NPR 200-300. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee (approximately NPR 1,000 for foreign tourists). From the entrance, you can hire a local jeep or walk to Patthar Bandh. Hiring a jeep may cost around NPR 1,500-2,500, depending on your negotiation skills and the number of passengers.
