Walking
Start at the Gorkha Durbar Square, a central location in Gorkha. From the square, head southeast on Durbar Marg. Continue walking straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with the Gorkha-Kulekhani road. Turn left onto this road and follow it for approximately 5 kilometers. Along the way, you will see signs pointing towards Kulekhani. As you approach Kulekhani, you will encounter some steep inclines and scenic views of the surrounding hills. Once you reach Kulekhani, look for signs directing you to Indra Sarovar, which is about another 1 kilometer ahead.

Trekking
For a more adventurous route, consider trekking from Gorkha to Indra Sarovar. Begin at Gorkha Durbar Square and take the trail that leads to the hills behind the square. This trek will take you through local villages and beautiful landscapes. Follow the trail upwards for about 2 hours until you reach a viewpoint overlooking the Kulekhani area. From there, descend towards Kulekhani and follow the road to Indra Sarovar, which is about 3 kilometers away. This route offers a unique experience of the natural beauty and the local culture.

Public Transportation
From Gorkha, walk to the bus station near Gorkha Durbar Square. Look for a local bus or shared jeep heading to Kulekhani. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kulekhani, you can ask locals for directions to Indra Sarovar, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary throughout the day.
