Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kathmandu. Head east on Durbar Marg towards Kantipath Rd. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Tundikhel will be on your right at P827+CXX, Kantipath Rd, Kathmandu 44600. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations. Expect to pay a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For public transportation, take a local bus heading towards Ratnapark. Buses run frequently from various parts of Kathmandu. Board any bus that shows 'Ratnapark' as a destination. Once you reach Ratnapark, disembark and walk about 10 minutes east along Kantipath Rd. Tundikhel will be on your left at P827+CXX. The bus fare is generally around NPR 20-30.
Taxi
You can also opt for a taxi for a more direct route. Simply tell the driver to take you to Tundikhel at P827+CXX, Kantipath Rd. The ride should take about 15-30 minutes depending on traffic. Expect to pay around NPR 300-500 depending on your starting location and traffic conditions.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Thamel or the Kathmandu Durbar Square, you can walk to Tundikhel. From Thamel, head south towards the Kathmandu Durbar Square, and then continue east on Bhaktapur Rd. After you pass through the square, turn left onto Kantipath Rd. Tundikhel will be approximately a 20-minute walk from the square. This is a great option to enjoy the local sights.
