Car
If you are driving from central Kathmandu, head east on Bhaktapur Road (Buddhanagar Marg). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Ring Road. Turn left onto the Ring Road and follow the signs towards Bhaktapur. After about 5 km, look for signs directing you to Maju Dega Temple, located in the Basantapur area. To reach Maju Dega Temple using public transportation, start at Ratna Park Bus Station in Kathmandu. Take a local microbus heading towards Bhaktapur (cost: approximately NPR 50). The temple is situated a short distance from the bus stop.
Walking
If you find yourself in the Thamel area, you can walk to Maju Dega Temple. Head east on Tridevi Marg, then turn left at the intersection with Amrit Marg. Continue until you reach the bus station, where you can pick up a local bus to Basantapur or continue walking. It's about a 30-minute walk from Thamel, passing through local markets and shops, which can be an enjoyable experience.
