From there, continue straight on the road which turns into Pashupatinath Marg. Follow the signs for Pashupatinath Temple. You will see the temple complex ahead after about 20 minutes of walking.

    From Thamel, walk to the nearest bus station at Ratna Park. Take a local bus heading towards Boudhanath or Pashupatinath. The bus fare is very affordable, usually around NPR 20-30. Inform the conductor of your destination and get off at the Pashupatinath stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes towards the temple complex, which will be visible from the bus stop.

  • Cycle Rickshaw

    You can also hire a cycle rickshaw from Thamel. Negotiate the fare, which should be around NPR 300-500. The rickshaw will take you directly to the Pashupatinath Temple Cremation Complex. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver to drop you off at the main entrance of the temple.
