Getting There

Walking
From the center of Durbar Square, head towards the entrance of the square where the Kathmandu Durbar Square Museum is located. As you face the museum, turn left and walk along the perimeter of the square. Continue walking until you reach the statue of King Pratap Malla. From there, look for Layaku Marg, which is a narrow street leading towards Kumari Ghar. Follow Layaku Marg for about 5 minutes, and you will see Kumari Ghar on your left. The temple is marked by its distinct architecture and is adjacent to a small courtyard.

If you are near the Kasthamandap Temple, exit the temple grounds and head towards the large open area of Durbar Square. From there, walk straight towards the western side of the square, where you will find the entrance to Layaku Marg. Walk down this street for about 3-4 minutes.
