Walking
From the center of Nagarkot, start at the main bus stop. Head down the main road towards the east until you reach the intersection with the Boudha Road. Turn left onto Boudha Road and continue walking straight for approximately 6 kilometers. As you approach the Boudhanath Stupa, keep an eye out for signs leading to Guru Lhakhang Monastery, which will be located on the right side of Boudha Road. The monastery is situated near the busy area of the Stupa, and you should see its entrance clearly marked.

If you're looking for a scenic route, you can hike from Nagarkot to Boudhanath. Begin your hike by taking the trail that leads south from Nagarkot, which will take you through beautiful landscapes and local villages. Follow the trail until you reach the valley below and then make your way towards Boudha Road. Once you reach Boudha Road, walk towards the east for about 1 kilometer until you find Guru Lhakhang Monastery on your right. This route provides a unique experience of the local nature and culture.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Nagarkot. From the rental shop, head down the main road towards the east, just like when walking. Follow the same route along Boudha Road, cycling steadily for about 6 kilometers. As you near the Boudhanath Stupa, look for signs that indicate Guru Lhakhang Monastery on your right side. Be cautious of traffic and enjoy the local scenery as you ride.
