Getting There
Walking
From the Namche Bazaar main square, head north towards the Khumbu Lodge. Continue straight past the lodge, following the trail that ascends slightly. You will pass a few shops and cafes on your left. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a signpost directing you towards Barun Valley. Follow this path as it winds through the trees and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Continue along this trail for another 20 minutes, and you will arrive at Shiva Dhara in Barun Valley, which is marked by a small sign.
Walking
Start at the Everest View Hotel, which is one of the higher points in Namche Bazaar. From the hotel, take the trail that leads down towards the village. Follow the path as it curves downwards, keeping an eye on the signs pointing towards Barun Valley. After about 15 minutes, you will reach a fork in the trail. Take the left path and continue straight for another 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Shiva Dhara Barun Valley on your right.
Walking
If you are starting from the Namche Bazaar Monastery, exit the monastery and turn left onto the main path. Walk downhill for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction near the bakery. Take a right turn at this junction and continue along the trail. After approximately 15 minutes, there will be a steep incline; follow it up as it leads you to Shiva Dhara Barun Valley, which will be visible on your left side.
