Getting There

  • Trekking

    From Pokhara, head to the Tourist Bus Park located in the Lakeside area. Purchase a ticket for a bus to Nayapul, which is the starting point for the trek to Annapurna I Middle Peak. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Nayapul, you will need to register at the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) checkpoint. After registering, start your trek towards Tikhedhunga. The trail will lead you through beautiful rice terraces and charming villages. After about 3-4 hours of trekking, you will reach Tikhedhunga, where you can find accommodations and rest for the night.

    The next morning, continue your trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani. This segment is a bit more challenging and will take around 6-7 hours, as you will be ascending many stone steps. Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains as you make your way up. In Ghorepani, there are plenty of guesthouses where you can stay overnight and enjoy local cuisine.
