Getting There

  • Trekking

    From Pokhara, head to the Lakeside area where you will find numerous trekking agencies. Book a guided tour or arrange a group trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp. Most treks will begin with a drive to Kande, which is approximately 30 minutes from Pokhara. You can take a local bus or hire a taxi to reach Kande. Once in Kande, start your trek towards Pothana. The trek from Kande to Pothana takes about 2-3 hours on a well-marked trail.

    Continue trekking from Pothana to Australian Camp. This part of the trek takes about 1-2 hours and offers stunning views of the Annapurna range. At Australian Camp, take a break and enjoy the scenery. From Australian Camp, trek to Landruk, which will take around 2-3 hours. This section includes some steep descents and ascents, so be prepared with proper trekking gear.
