Car
If you are driving from the center of Achterhoek, head northwest on N318 towards A1/E30. Merge onto A1/E30 towards Amsterdam. Continue on A1 for about 80 kilometers. Take exit 10 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Follow signs for S100 and then take the exit for S100 after 4 kilometers. Continue straight onto Marnixstraat and then take a right onto Stadhouderskade. After 1 kilometer, turn left onto Amstel and you will find Magere Brug directly ahead.

To reach Magere Brug using public transport, start by taking a train from the nearest station in Achterhoek to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey may require one or two transfers, typically at either Zutphen or Deventer. Once at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and take tram line 14 towards Zeeburg. Disembark at the 'Langebrug' stop. From there, walk southeast on Amstelstraat for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Magere Brug.
