Walking
From Amersfoort Central Station, exit the station and head southwest towards the bus station. Walk straight along Stationsplein until you reach the intersection with Stadsring. Cross the street and continue straight on Stadsring, passing the large green park on your left. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the bus stop 'Amersfoort, Stadsring'. Here, take Bus 104 towards 'Amsterdam, Sloterdijk'. Stay on the bus for about 35-40 minutes.

At Amersfoort Central Station, purchase a ticket for a train to Amsterdam Centraal. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk towards the main road, Damrak. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the intersection at Dam Square. From Dam Square, head southeast towards Rokin street. Continue on Rokin for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Mr. Visserplein, where you will find the Portuguese Synagogue.
