Walking
If you are in the center of Amersfoort, start at the 'Langestraat', a well-known shopping street. Walk towards the 'Krommestraat' and follow it until you reach the junction with 'Havenstraat'. Turn left onto 'Havenstraat' and continue walking until you reach the 'Oude Haven'. From there, head towards the bus station (Amersfoort Centraal). Once at the bus station, take bus line 106 or 107 towards Gouda. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Gouda, Markt' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Stadhuis van Gouda located at Markt 1. Just follow the signs to the city hall.

From Amersfoort Centraal Station, take a train towards Utrecht. After one stop, change trains to a direct train to Gouda. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Gouda Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the bus. Take bus number 1 towards 'Gouda, Markt'. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Gouda, Markt' stop, and you'll find the Stadhuis van Gouda right in front of you at Markt 1.
