Getting There

  • Train

    From Amsterdam Central Station, take a train towards Haarlem. The trains run frequently, approximately every 10-15 minutes. Once you board the train, enjoy the scenic ride which will take about 20 minutes. Get off at Overveen station. Upon exiting the station, turn right and walk along Zeeweg for about 10 minutes. You will see Zuid-Kennemerland National Park on your left.

  • Bus

    From Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, take bus line 80 towards Overveen. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Overveen, Zeeweg' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. Head east on Zeeweg, and the park entrance will be on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Amsterdam. Head towards the Vondelpark and follow the signs to the Amstelveenseweg. Continue on this road which will lead you out of the city. After about 30-40 minutes of cycling, you will reach Zeeweg. Turn left on Zeeweg and continue for 5 minutes until you arrive at Zuid-Kennemerland National Park.

  • Walking

    If you're nearby and wish to walk, you can head towards the nearest tram stop and take Tram 2 towards Nieuw Sloten. Get off at the last stop and walk towards Amstelveenseweg. From there, continue walking straight for about 1.5 km until you reach Zeeweg. Turn left and walk for another 10 minutes to find Zuid-Kennemerland National Park.
