Walking
If you are starting from the Haarlem Central Station, exit the station and head south on Kruisweg. Continue straight until you reach the first major intersection. Turn left onto Zijlweg and follow it until you reach the Zijlpoort, a historic gate. From there, continue straight into the city center. Once you reach the Grote Markt, turn right onto the Gierstraat and continue straight until it merges into the Lange Annastraat. Hofje van Guurtje de Waal will be located on your left at Lange Annastraat 40C.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Haarlem Central Station, you can take bus number 50 towards Amsterdam, which departs from the bus station next to the train station. Get off at the 'Zijlweg' stop. From there, walk back south toward the Zijlpoort, and then follow the walking directions from the Zijlpoort to Hofje van Guurtje de Waal as described above.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the rental shops near Haarlem Central Station. Once you have your bike, head south on Kruisweg. Turn left onto Zijlweg and cycle until you reach the Zijlpoort. After passing through the gate, continue cycling straight until you reach the Grote Markt. At the Grote Markt, turn right onto Gierstraat, and then left onto Lange Annastraat. Hofje van Guurtje de Waal will be on your left at number 40C.
