From Dam Square, walk south on Damstraat until you reach the intersection with Rokin. Turn left on Rokin and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Amstel. Turn right on Amstel, and the Amsterdam Museum will be on your left side at Amstel 51.
Tram
To take the tram, find the nearest tram stop. If you are near Dam Square, look for the tram stop called 'Dam'. Board tram line 4, 14, or 24, all of which will take you towards the city center. Get off at the 'Nieuwezijds Kolk' stop. From there, walk east along the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal until you reach the intersection with Amstel. Turn left onto Amstel, and the Amsterdam Museum will be located at Amstel 51.
Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, locate the nearest bus stop. A good starting point is the 'Amsterdam, Dam' bus stop. Board bus line 48 or 62. Travel for a few stops and get off at 'Amsterdam, Rembrandtplein'. From there, walk north along Amstel until you see the Amsterdam Museum at Amstel 51 on your right.

Amsterdam is a bike-friendly city. If you have rented a bike, start from your location and make your way towards the Amstel river. Ride along the Amstel towards the city center. Once you reach the intersection with Amstel and the street where the museum is located, park your bike and head to Amstel 51, where the Amsterdam Museum is situated.
