Train
From Amsterdam Central Station, purchase a ticket to Haarlem. Board a train heading to Haarlem; the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Haarlem Station, exit the station and head towards the main street (Kruisweg).

Walking
After exiting Haarlem Station, turn right onto Kruisweg and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Zijlweg. Turn left onto Zijlweg and continue walking until you reach the Spaarne river. Cross the bridge (Spaarnebrug) and continue straight onto the Nieuwe Gracht. Follow the canal until you reach the intersection with Vrouwestraat. Turn right onto Vrouwestraat and Bakenesserkerk will be on your left at number 12.

Bus
From Amsterdam, you can also take a bus to Haarlem. Take bus line 300 or 310 from Amsterdam Sloterdijk or Amsterdam Amstel. Get off at the Haarlem bus station. From there, it's a short walk. Head southwest on Kruisweg towards Zijlweg, then follow the walking directions as described above from Haarlem Station.
