Once you arrive at Haarlem Station, exit the station and turn right. Walk straight down the Zijlweg, which will lead you to the city center. Continue straight until you reach the Grote Markt. The City Hall is located at Grote Markt 2, directly facing the square.

From Amsterdam, you can also take a bus to Haarlem. Go to the bus station at Amsterdam Sloterdijk or Amsterdam Amstel. Look for bus line 80 or 300 heading towards Haarlem. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching Haarlem, get off at the stop 'Grote Markt.' The City Hall is just a short walk away at Grote Markt 2, right in the square.

If you are up for an adventure, consider renting a bicycle in Amsterdam. Follow the route from the city center to Haarlem, which is about 20 km. Head west along the IJ River, then follow the signs for the cycle path towards Haarlem. It takes approximately 1 hour to reach the city. Once in Haarlem, head towards the Grote Markt, where you will find the City Hall at Grote Markt 2.
