Getting There

  • Tram

    If you are near the Central Station, take tram line 4, 14, or 24 towards the direction of 'Zuid'. Get off at the 'Dam' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will see Dam Square directly in front of you, with the Royal Palace on one side and the National Monument on the other.

  • Walking

    If you are in the area of the Anne Frank House, you can walk to Dam Square. Head east on Prinsengracht towards Westermarkt, then turn left onto Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. Continue straight until you reach Dam Square. The walk takes about 15 minutes.

    If you are near a Metro station, take line 52 (the North-South line) and get off at 'Rokin' station. After exiting the station, walk north along Rokin Street until you reach Dam Square, which is a short 5-minute walk.
