Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main square (Damrak). From there, walk straight towards Dam Square. At Dam Square, you can see the Royal Palace. Continue walking straight on Kalverstraat, which turns into Heiligeweg. After about 10-15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Weteringschans. Turn right on Weteringschans and continue until you reach the bridge over the Amstel River. Cross the bridge, then turn left onto Nieuwe Keizersgracht. De Schaduwkade, the monument, will be on your right at Nieuwe Keizersgracht 1.

From Amsterdam Central Station, take tram line 4 or 14 towards 'Zuid' or 'Station Zuid'. Get off at the 'Weteringcircuit' stop. From there, walk back towards the intersection and turn left onto Nieuwe Keizersgracht. Continue walking for a few minutes, and you will find De Schaduwkade, the monument, located at Nieuwe Keizersgracht 1.
