    If you are near Amsterdam Central Station, head east on Stationsplein towards the Prins Hendrikkade. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. Turn left on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal and follow the street until you reach the intersection with the Amstel. Cross the bridge over the Amstel River and keep walking straight. You will pass the Hermitage Museum on your left. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Wibautstraat. Scharrebiersluis is located just a short walk from there.

    From Amsterdam Central Station, take tram line 26 towards 'Zuid' and get off at the 'Weesperplein' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk south towards Amstel. Cross the bridge over the Amstel River. After crossing, continue straight and look for signs for Scharrebiersluis, which is just a short walk from the bridge on your left.
