Car
If you're driving from the center of Egmond aan Zee, head southeast on Zeeweg towards Egmond. Follow the road for about 5 km until you reach the intersection with N9. Merge onto N9 towards Amsterdam. Continue on N9 for approximately 30 km. Take the exit towards Amsterdam-Centrum, and follow the signs to the city center. Once in Amsterdam, keep an eye out for signs to the Begijnhof. You can park at one of the nearby parking garages, such as Q-Park Byzantium, which is about a 10-minute walk from Begijnhof 29.

Public Transportation
To reach Begijnhof from Egmond aan Zee using public transport, first, walk to the nearest bus stop, Egmond aan Zee, and take bus line 132 towards Alkmaar. This bus will take you to the Alkmaar train station. Once at Alkmaar station, board a train towards Amsterdam Centraal. The train journey will take about 40 minutes. When you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk towards Dam Square. From Dam Square, head southwest on Damstraat towards Rokin. Continue straight and then take a left onto Spui. Follow Spui until you reach Begijnhof. The entrance is located at Begijnhof 29.
