Walking
If you are starting from the Groningen Central Station, exit the station and head south towards the Groningen city center. Walk straight down the 'Stationsweg' street until you reach the 'Vismarkt'. From Vismarkt, turn left onto 'Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat'. Continue straight until you reach the 'A' bridge over the canal. Cross the bridge and then turn right onto 'Folkingestraat'. This street will lead you directly to the Grote Markt, where you will find the iconic Martinitoren and the Town Hall.

If you have rented a bicycle, leave the rental shop and head towards the 'Zwanestraat'. Follow the bike path along the canal, passing through 'Herestraat'. Stay on the bike lane until you reach 'Vismarkt'. At Vismarkt, take a left onto 'Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat' and continue to the 'A' bridge. Cross the bridge and turn right onto 'Folkingestraat'. You will arrive at Grote Markt in a few minutes.

From the Groningen Central Station, take bus line 5 or 10 in the direction of 'Zernike'. Get off at the 'Vismarkt' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk straight ahead to 'Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat'.
