    From Haarlem's central station (Haarlem CS), exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight down the main street, 'Kruisweg', until you reach 'Grote Markt', the main square of Haarlem. Once you are at the square, you will see the impressive 'Grote Kerk' (St. Bavo's Church) on your right. From 'Grote Markt', take the street 'Bakenessergracht' and follow it until you reach 'Barteljorisstraat'. Continue on 'Barteljorisstraat' until you come to 'Oude Groenmarkt'. Turn left onto 'Oude Groenmarkt' and walk straight until you reach the junction with 'Lange Veerstraat'. Now, turn right onto 'Lange Veerstraat' and continue until you see signs directing you to the train station. Once at the train station, take a train to Amsterdam. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the tram. Take tram line 14 towards 'Zandhoek' and get off at 'Utrechtsestraat'. From there, it's a short walk to Magere Brug.
