Walking
From the Leiden Central Station, head east on Stationsweg towards the city center. Continue straight onto Breestraat. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with the Kloksteeg. Turn right onto Kloksteeg, and then take a left onto the Nieuwe Rijn. Follow this road until you reach the bridge over the canal. Cross the bridge and continue straight. You will come to the Oude Singel canal; turn left and follow it until you reach the intersection with the Oude Vest. Continue straight, and you will soon arrive at the city center. From there, you can take a train to Amsterdam Central Station, which is approximately 35 minutes away. Once at Amsterdam Central Station, take the tram towards Dam Square, and get off at the Oudekerksplein tram stop. The Belle statue is just a short walk from there.

Bicycle
Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Leiden. Start by cycling down the Haarlemmerstraat towards the city center. Continue until you reach the Market Square (Markt). From there, head towards the train station and take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, you can either walk or take a tram to Oudekerksplein. If you wish to cycle, you can rent a bike at the station and bike towards Oudekerksplein, which is approximately 15 minutes away.

Bus and Tram
At the Leiden Central Station, take bus line 43 towards Schiphol Airport. Get off at the stop 'Amsterdam, Sloterdijk' after about 45 minutes. From there, transfer to tram line 12 towards Amsterdam, and get off at the Oudekerksplein stop. The Belle statue will be just a short walk from the tram stop.
