From the Leiden Central Station, head southwest towards Stationsweg. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Beestenmarkt. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Old City Hall (Oude Stadhuis). From there, follow the signs towards the bus stop at Breestraat. Take bus line 43 heading to Amsterdam, which will take you directly to Amsterdam. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head southeast towards the Damrak. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Oudezijds Voorburgwal.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Leiden. Start by heading north on Haarlemmerstraat, then take a left onto Molenstraat. Continue until you reach the N206 road. Follow the N206 towards Amsterdam, then merge onto the A4 highway. After approximately 36 kilometers, take the exit toward Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue straight until you arrive at Oudezijds Voorburgwal, where you can lock your bike at one of the designated bike parking areas.

From Leiden Central Station, purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Central Station. Trains run frequently, so check the schedule on the NS website or app for the next available train. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk southeast towards the Damrak. Follow the Damrak for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at Oudezijds Voorburgwal.

Walk to the nearest bus stop from your location in Leiden, and take bus line 43 towards Amsterdam. The bus will take you directly to Amsterdam Central Station.
