If you're traveling by car from Zaanse Schans to Amsterdam Central Railway Station, start by heading south on the N248 road. Follow the signs for Amsterdam and merge onto the A8 motorway. Continue on the A8 and take the exit toward the A10 ring road. Merge onto the A10 and follow the signs for 'Centrum'. Once you reach the city center, follow the signs to 'Station' or 'Centraal Station'. There is a parking garage near the station, but be aware that parking fees apply, which can be expensive.

Public Transportation - Train
To reach Amsterdam Central Railway Station using public transport, first walk to the nearest bus stop in Zaanse Schans. Take the bus to Zaandijk Zaanse Schans Station (Bus Line 391). From there, board a train heading to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride takes approximately 17 minutes. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Central Station, you will find the main station exit located directly in front of the platform.

Another option is to take Bus Line 391 from Zaanse Schans directly to Amsterdam. The bus will take you to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. From Sloterdijk, transfer to a train heading towards Amsterdam Central Station. This journey may take around 40-50 minutes in total, including transfer time.
