Start from any location in Douglas County, Nevada. If you are near Minden or Gardnerville, take US-395 North. Follow US-395 for approximately 18 miles until you reach the junction with NV-207. Take the exit toward NV-207 (Kingsbury Grade) and turn left onto NV-207. Follow NV-207 for about 6 miles. At the top of Kingsbury Grade, turn right onto NV-28, which will lead you to Lake Tahoe - Nevada State Park. Continue on NV-28 for about 9 miles, and you will arrive at the park entrance. Note that there is a parking fee of $15 for a day pass.
