The trailhead is located at Cascade Falls Trail, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. There is a parking area available near the trailhead, but it can fill up quickly during peak tourist seasons.

For those using public transportation, take the BlueGo bus service, which operates in the Lake Tahoe area. You can catch the BlueGo bus from various locations in Lake Tahoe. Make sure to check their schedule for the nearest stop to your location. Get off at the South Lake Tahoe stop closest to Mount Tallac Road and then walk to Cascade Falls Trail. It’s about a 1-mile walk from the nearest bus stop to the trailhead.
