Car
From any location in Lake Tahoe, head to US-50 East. If you are coming from South Lake Tahoe, take US-50 East directly. From Stateline, drive south on Pioneer Trail until you reach US-50. Once on US-50, continue for about 4 miles until you reach the Emerald Bay State Park area. Look for Eagle Falls, which is located at 138 Emerald Bay Rd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. There is a parking area at the Eagle Falls trailhead. Note that parking may incur a fee, usually around $5.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Tahoe Transportation District bus (Route 50) that runs between Stateline and South Lake Tahoe. Disembark at the Emerald Bay stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the Eagle Falls trailhead, located at 138 Emerald Bay Rd. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the most current times and routes.
Walking
If you are already in the Emerald Bay area, simply walk towards Eagle Falls, which is approximately a 0.5-mile stroll from the parking area. Follow the clearly marked trail that leads down towards the falls. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes for the short hike.
