If you're driving from South Lake Tahoe, head west on US-50. Merge onto CA-89 North towards Tahoe City. Continue on CA-89 for about 9 miles. Look for the signs for Emerald Bay State Park and turn left into the park area. Note that there is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle.

Take the Blue Go public bus service from South Lake Tahoe. Board the bus at one of the designated stops and take the route towards Emerald Bay. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may be limited. The fare is approximately $2 per ride. Once you arrive at the Emerald Bay stop, follow the signs to the park entrance.
