    If you're driving from South Lake Tahoe, head west on US-50. Merge onto CA-89 North towards Tahoe City. Continue on CA-89 for about 9 miles. Look for the signs for Emerald Bay State Park and turn left into the park area. Note that there is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle.
