If you're driving, head to Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge located at 32 Pleasant Plains Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. From there, take Pleasant Plains Road to the intersection with Long Hill Road. Turn left on Long Hill Road, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 202. Turn right onto Route 202, and follow the signs towards Fairfield, NJ. Continue onto Passaic Avenue, which will take you directly to Great Piece Meadows. It is advisable to use a GPS for live directions, as traffic conditions may vary.

If you are using public transportation, take NJ Transit train to the nearest station, which is the Lyons Train Station. From there, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Great Piece Meadows, as public transport does not reach the meadows directly. The estimated taxi fare from the station to Great Piece Meadows is approximately $15-$20. Be sure to check the NJ Transit schedule ahead of your trip for train times.
