Once inside, navigate towards the wilderness area by following the signs to the 'Wilderness Area' which is located near Green Village, NJ 07935. The area is accessible via several trails, so make sure to park in designated areas and follow the marked paths to reach the Wilderness Area.

For travelers using public transportation, you can take a NJ Transit train to the nearby town of Morristown. From Morristown, you can catch a local bus (Morris County Bus Route 873) that heads toward Green Village. Disembark at the closest stop to the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. From there, it’s a short walk to one of the entrances of the refuge. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the latest routes and times.
